For more than 30 years Hastwell & Lightfoot has grown Cabernet Franc on our ‘Sands Vineyards’. For far too long the variety has stayed beneath the wine lover’s radar and this wine shows it is time that stopped.

The 2018 Hastwell & Lightfoot Cabernet Franc is a fresh wine combining aromas of mint, raspberries, and peppers, but then shows the sexy seductive characters of balanced tannins and acidity from the splash of time in oak.

It is a particularly good companion with wood oven-baked eggplant moussaka served with saltbush and lemon myrtle potato wedges.
